ONE YEAR!!!!!

Can you believe it!! We have already been married for ONE WHOLE YEAR!! This year really FLEW. But it has been the BEST year of my life. We have definitely had a lot of fun together and I can't wait for the MANY more years to come.

For our anniversary we went and ate at Drift Inn in Rupert, which is one of my favorite. I just absolutely LOVE deep fried pickles. I could eat them everyday, except I want to actually be able to fit in and out of doors still. :) We then came home, watched a movie, went to bed, and....... fell ASLEEP. HAHA we are already old foggies. We can't take too much excitement, it wears us out. We were pooped. It may have to do with the fact that I wake up at 4 AM EVERY morning, maybe that is it.

So I guess it is tradition that on your first year anniversary you are supposed to eat the cake topper to your wedding cake. We had been advised that the best way to keep the cake is to wrap it in ceran wrap, then tin foil, and then store it in one of those ice cream buckets. So that is what we did. The first error we made, is we forgot that the cake would need to defrost, so we hadn't taken it out of the freezer earlier. Um HELLO, it had been frozen for a whole YEAR!! :) So we sat around and waited and waited for this cake to unfreeze, and in the end, it really was not that good. We each took a bite so we could say we "ate our cake topper" but that was about it.In Honor of our ONE YEAR, I would like for everyone to see why I love this Crazy man so much!!
I love him because he puts up with me and my crazy self :)
He loves me for me, and never expected me to change, and tells me everyday how perfect I am
He finds joy in the little things
He makes me laugh, when I don't really feel like smiling.
I can never be mad at him because the next second he'll say something that cracks me up and I'll quickly forget why I was even mad in the first place.
He isn't afraid to just be goofy with me
He makes every situation fun
He works so hard to make our house a home, and very very nice
He lets me cuddle with him at night, even when he just wants to go to sleep
He leaves the fan in the window at night, even when it freezes his tookas off, because he knows I like it cold.
He always makes sure to remind me to say our prayers.
He takes care of me, and always makes sure my needs are met.
I could seriously go on and on (I have proof, I wrote a 7 page letter, and a book called 100 reasons I love you :) ) but for the sake of everyones sanity and appetite I will stop right there. Obviously, as you can all see, I clearly have the BEST husband out there, and can't believe I got to spend the GREATEST year of my life with him, and that I am the LUCKY girl that gets to spend eternity with him!!
